Im back ;) » Pregnancy, Childbirth And Motherhood.

Well i know, Ive been MIA for a week or so.. naughty me. Bet you are all dying to hear what has been going on..

My stomach is ever expanding, my insulin injections are being increased constantly and Im now on the countdown to birth.

13 weeks to go and counting It sounds like a long time but in reality its not, I have a busy 3 months ahead of me. Weddings, parties, university exams, easter, mothers day just to name a few… in between all those things I still have to attend weekly endocrinologist appointments for my diabetes as well as now 2 weekly obstetrician appointments which really is taking its toll.

I have come to grips with the whole “diabetes” thing and actually am getting used to injecting the insulin myself, I had a bit of a breakdown where I was constantly just crying about how hard things always have been and still are for me… I guess i just expected the pregnancy to be normal and not have to worry about extra things on top of the actual pregnancy but no.. its ok Im coping.

We have chosen to get our bubba christened and even have a date all set. 1st October you are all invited lol. We had our first meeting tonight in which is called “christianity explained” which you are required to do in order for the church to christen your child. It went well. We met at another couple’s house and the minister came basically we just sat there for an hour talking about what Jesus meant to us and the minister explained about christianity, we have to do three more classes.
